Education

Mr. Liska graduated from Ripon College (B.A. 2002) and the Wake Forest School of Law (J.D. 2007). Mr. Liska majored in Business Management and Economics at Ripon College and was a member of the basketball team.  Before attending law school, Mr. Liska worked as a Project Analyst and Project Manager for the Wisconsin Business Development Corporation.

Role at MHC

Mr. Liska is a shareholder in the firm. Mr. Liska practices primarily in the areas of workers’ compensation defense, employment law, business law, corporate law, and general civil litigation.

Professional Bio

In law school, Mr. Liska was active in the student government and served as the student body president his final year.  Mr. Liska was awarded the Dean’s Leadership Award while at Wake Forest and was involved in the Winston-Salem Community by coaching youth basketball and tutoring at the Hanes Hosiery Community Center.
Mr. Liska combines his prior experience in business with his legal knowledge to provide companies of all types and sizes with logical solutions to their problems.

Personal Bio

Mr. Liska was born in California and moved to North Carolina from Wisconsin to attend law school.  Mr. Liska and his wife Kattie reside in Belmont and have two wonderful children, Nolan and Lucas.
When not chasing around his kids, he enjoys the outdoors, playing basketball, watching Chicago sports (not always enjoyable), and cooking.  He is a member of Queen of Apostles Church in Belmont and is chair for the Family Advisory Board for Gaston County.
